Festival events include a Virtual Music Marathon and Scholarly Symposium, In-Person Scholarly Symposium, In-Person Music Marathon, Composition Workshop, and the culminating Feature Concert with Ensemble-in-Residence Whistling Hens, featuring the World Premiere of“From the Journal of Katherine Campbell”by Composer-in-Residence Kari Cruver Medina and the winners of our international Call for ScoresCara Haxo, Martha Callison Horst & Sarah Marze.
The annual Festival is accessible for all those with mobility, visual, and/or hearing impairments.
In case of an emergency, people with mobility devices will be escorted from the premises ahead of the general public. Emergency signs and instructions will be utilized, along with audio announcements, to be certain that the message reaches all those with vision or hearing impairments.
