2024 Festival
Our 2024 is being held on Friday & Saturday, March 1st & 2nd at Central Connecticut State University’s Founders Hall in New Britain, Connecticut. We warmly invite and welcome all attendees to join in our celebration of living and historical women composers.
Tickets are valid for all Festival events.
CCSU students and faculty will be asked to show university IDs at the WCFH registration table.

When you purchase your ticket online, you will have the opportunity to make a tax-deductible donation to the Women Composers Festival of Hartford. Donations directly support the creation, promotion, and performance of women’s music.
The annual Festival is accessible for all those with mobility, visual, and/or hearing impairments.
In case of an emergency, people with mobility devices will be escorted from the premises ahead of the general public. Emergency signs and instructions will be utilized, along with audio announcements, to be certain that the message reaches all those with vision or hearing impairments.

Festival events include a Music Marathon, Scholarly Symposium, Emerging Composers Workshop, and the culminating Feature Concert with Ensemble-in-Residence Balance Campaign, Composer-in-Residence Kirsten Volness, and the winners of our international Call for Scores (Geli Li, Judith Lang Zaimont, and Yuting Tan).
