Musical Club of Hartford

The Musical Club of Hartford will host a presentation by the 2013 Women Composers Festival of Hartford at 10 am on Thursday, March 7, 2013, at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2080 Boulevard Road in West Hartford, CT. Admission is $5 at the door. (wheelchair accessible)

Hilary Tann, the composer-in-residence, will discuss her work, and artists from the roster of the Women Composers Festival will perform.

Sandburg Songs by Connecticut composer Elizabeth Austin will be sung by soprano Erica Maas, winner of both the high school and college scholarships from Musical Club.

The Women Composers Festival of Hartford promotes the music of contemporary and historical women composers.
