2023 Festival

Our 2023 Festival will be held on Friday & Saturday, March 17th and 18th, and will take place at Trinity College’s Gruss Music Center in Hartford, Connecticut.

In celebration of our first In-Person Festival since 2019, we are offering audience admission at $20 per person per day. Friday’s events include Scholarly Symposium and Emerging Composers Workshop and Saturday’s events include the Music Marathon and the Feature Concert.
Children under 16 admitted free.
Virtual viewing of the entire Festival is $30.
WCFH does not turn anyone away due to the inability to pay.

You can register in advance or pay at the door.

Festival events include a Music MarathonScholarly SymposiumEmerging Composers Workshop, and the culminating Feature Concert with Ensemble-in-Residence Chartreuse (Myra Hinrichs, violin; Carrie Frey, viola; Helen Newby, cello), Composer-in-Residence Maria Kaoutzani, and the winners of our international Call for Scores (Geli Li and Sofia Scheps).

The rate is $159/night (with tax: $182.85).  There are rooms with 2 queen beds available, so sharing can happen, if needed.
Cancelation requires 48 hours notice.
Booking required by March 1st or rate returns to regular price.
Breakfast is included.
