The application window for our Call for Scores and Composition Workshop have closed, but applications for our Music Marathon & Scholarly Symposium may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
We are excited to welcome the Balance Campaign as our 2024 Ensemble-in-Residence and Kirsten Volness as our 2024 Composer-in-Residence! Our 2024 Festival will take place on Friday & Saturday, March 1st & 2nd, 2024 at Central Connecticut State University.
2024 Festival: Application Process & Deadlines
- Begin by fully completing the Application Document. The links below will create copies of Google Docs, which you can complete online or download for Microsoft Word.
- Submit that document (as a Word document or Google Doc) through the Submission Form.
- Call for Scores, Music Marathon, and Scholarly Symposium application documents and submission forms may considered on a case-by-case basis past the application deadline of October 1st, 2023.
- The application window for our Composition Workshop and Call for Scores has closed. We look forward to sharing the results soon!

Composer-in-Residence and Ensemble-in-Residence Applications (Year-Round)
- Composer-in-Residence and Ensemble-in-Residence applications are accepted year-round but must be received by January 1st to be considered for the following three years.
